Our Story
In 2020, we started The Arcane Penguin (TAP to friends!) to disrupt the fashion industry with a sassy and irreverent style and attitude, combining heritage with modernity, simplicity with playfulness, and street style with elegance.
We are two visionaries that have worked hand-in-hand with the fashion industry and graphic design before, and dreamt of inspiring everyone. Each of our designs represents our dedication to the quality, creativity and experience that we put into each product designed.
Frequently renewed by the latest trends, we’re deeply inspired and influenced by dreamers and cultures across the world; and and our designs embody that very spirit.
Since our beginning, our mision has been to take the world by storm and make a difference in the fashion industry, by creating original and unique designs that reflect our creativity, but at the same time, respects and protects what’s truly important: Nature.
This is our foremost purpose, doing a fashion that is beautiful, original and respectful of the planet we inhabit. We want to contribute creating a world that is sustainable, where Nature grows unpolluted and protected.
We know that the road is long, and we travel it with enthusiasm, but there’s always room for improvement, so we do it with humility.

We are designers and dreamers who love to see the world in a different light, and design clothes for those who don’t take themselves too seriously – those who like to wear something out of the ordinary once in a while; those who wouldn’t mind breaking the rules and donning something unconventional or even rebellious; and those who want to stand out. But our mission is much bigger than just making great looking clothes. We want to inspire people to share their stories, and we believe that fashion can be sustainable.

Did you know that second to oil, the fashion and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world?
We are concerned about how the apparel industry has a tremendous impact on climate change and the contamination of our planet’s diverse biosphere. That’s why becoming a sustainable clothing brand is important to us.
And we are on a mission to change the apparel industry.
We have sustainable practices and methods that help protect our planet, woven into each one of our products.

At The Arcane Penguin, we are convinced that good clothes come from better choices. We make products that are sourced in better ways, from better materials, crafted at the highest quality — materials crafted with thoughtful quality from sourcing to finishing, that help create a bond between you and the products you buy.
By carefully choosing the raw materials we use, we limit the impact of our products on the environment. Our cotton is eco, and comes from sustainable sources.
Sustainability is woven into everything we do: we use Digital Printing, an innovative method to print graphics and patterns onto fabric. We’re using fewer resources and we do a fraction of the pollution. For our prints, use Kornit machines and inks. Kornit uses high-quality, water-based vegan inks that they formulate, test, and produce in their own factories, and for our all-over print products we use Mimaki printers—their inks are also certified with the OEKO-TEX Eco Passport.
Even though it is a more costly manufacturing process than traditional Screen Printing and other production techniques, Digital Printing reduces greenhouse gas emissions and water use in manufacturing.
We do not use fur, angora, or other exotic animal skin or hair in any of our products.

The apparel industry produces thousands of pieces of each style, which often end up as waste. Our styles are produced on demand, and we have a limited stock of our products, hence limiting the footprint impact of our products. We’re using fewer resources and making less waste.
We opt for recycled materials to give a plastics a second life and avoiding producing new CO2-emitting materials.
Our polyester comes from recycled plastic bottles and will always do.

We're want to support environmental associations.
In our efforts to protect Nature, we want to support environmnetal associations which help keep our forests thriving. A percentage of our profits will be given to associations that work towards the preservation of our precious forests and trees across the world.
